Evisu Private Stock collection - This pair of 2000 loose fit jeans is handmade in Japan and comes in 15oz super raw Japanese selvedge denim from Kurabo Mills, left unwashed for a stiff hand feel. The denim is unsanforized, meaning that it has been untreated and will shrink to fit when washed. When you decide to wash the jeans, you should expect them to shrink down around 3% overall, this is worth considering when choosing your size.
Raw Denim is best when worn for at least six months before washing giving you a second skin feel and sharper fades. This way you start off with a blank canvas ready to personalize by creating your own unique natural whiskering, creases and abrasions. If this isn’t for you and you prefer a softer hand feel, just give the jeans a quick hand wash in cold water to keep them fairly dark and hang dry before wearing.
A high quality pair of jeans featuring the Evisu Godhead leather patch, the Godhead is the smiling figure of Ebisu, the Japanese God of prosperity, whilst the Kanji refers to the quality guaranteed roots of the Evisu brand.
Also featured are the Evisu signature hidden rear copper rivets for additional strength, a more time consuming and complex technique, making the rivets less prone to scratching and dents, and hand painted ecru signature seagull on the back pockets that you will only find on the highest quality denims.
