  The world famous seagull logo of EVISU is known as “kamome” in Japanese.

• KAMON

  Just like the Western tradition of royal families each owning their coat of arms, Japan also adapted this tradition since the early 1870 during the Meiji period. This pattern is EVISU’s own “kamome”.

• QUALITY GUARANTEED GODHEAD

  The smiling figure epresents Ebisu, portrait of Japanese god of prosperity. The Kanji 品質保證 – refers to the Quality Guaranteed, roots of the brand.

• Baby Godhead

  The playful portrait of Ebisu, the Japanese god of prosperity, known as baby Godhead in English.

• 戎

  Another name of Ebisu in Japanese, the Japanese god of prosperity.

• DAICOCK

  Known as Daicock in English, means centre of the family.

• THE BRUSHSTROKE DAICOCK

  The Brushstroke Daicock appeared first in 2002 when EVISU invited a Chinese calligraphy artist to design another version of the famous Daicock.

• BEFORE ANYONE DID ANYTHING, EVISU DID EVERY THING

  The now famous quote of EVISU, it is a twist of John Lennon’s description of Elvis Presley.

• CHIN CHIN

  A cartoon character of the secret place of males, is the brand’s new favorite logo.

  The way of happiness, is the name of EVISU’s fishing series.
